1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the PretPakkie website (https://www.pretpakkie.co.za/) and your purchase of products from us.

By accessing or using our website, placing an order, or using our services (including the PretPakkie measurement service), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you must not use our website.

 

 

2. Use of the Website

  • You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to engage in any activity that:

    • Is fraudulent, harmful or invasive of others’ privacy

3. Products & Descriptions

  • We offer ready-made and custom-made garments, including dresses and related products.

  • We try to display product colours, images and descriptions as accurately as possible; however, actual appearance may vary due to:

    • Device screens and lighting

    • Fabric batches and manufacturing processes (see Disclaimer)

Product availability is subject to change without notice.

 

 

4. Order Process

  1. Product Selection – Browse our products, select size, colour, style and any custom options, then add items to your cart.

  2. Checkout – Provide accurate customer details (name, email, contact number, delivery address, and if applicable, custom measurement details).

  3. Payment – Complete payment using the available payment methods.

  4. Order Confirmation – You will receive an email or on-screen confirmation summarising your order.

  5. Order Review – We may contact you to confirm details, especially for custom-made orders and measurement-related queries.

Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or reject your order (for example, due to stock limits, pricing errors, or suspected fraud). If we reject an order after payment, we will refund you.

 

 

5. Custom-Made Orders & Measurements

  • For custom-made garments, we rely on:

    • Measurements and information you provide; or

    • Measurements taken via the PretPakkie measurement service, where you have booked and we have recorded your measurements.

  • Please ensure your measurements and details are accurate and complete.

  • Custom-made items are typically made-to-order and may have longer lead times and limited return options (see Refund & Return Policy).

 

 

6. Payment Terms

  • All prices are displayed in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive or exclusive of VAT where indicated.

  • We accept payment via secure payment gateways within the Shopify platform.

  • Payment must be successfully processed before orders are confirmed for production or dispatch.

By submitting payment information, you warrant that:

  • You are authorised to use the selected payment method; and

  • The information provided is true and correct.

We are not responsible for delays or non-delivery arising from payment issues.

 

 

7. Pricing, Discounts & Promotions

  • Prices, promotions and discounts are subject to change without notice.

  • Promotional codes or discounts:

    • May be subject to specific terms and validity periods

    • Cannot generally be combined unless explicitly stated

    • Must be entered at checkout to apply

In the event of obvious pricing errors, we reserve the right to cancel or adjust orders, and offer you a refund or an option to pay the correct price.

 

 

8. Delivery Timelines & Lead Times

  • Delivery Areas: We deliver within South Africa (and any additional regions explicitly stated on the website).

  • Delivery Timeframes:

    • All orders (including custom-made garments, unless otherwise specified on a particular product page) are typically delivered within 10 to 15 business days after payment has been received. This period may include both production time and courier delivery time.

  • Delivery times are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including (but not limited to):

    • Courier delays

    • Public holidays

    • High-volume seasons

    • Supply chain disruptions

Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery or collection, but ownership remains with us until payment is received in full.

 

 

9. Errors & Inaccuracies

While we strive for accuracy, the website may contain:

  • Inaccuracies

  • Omissions relating to product descriptions, pricing, availability or shipping

We reserve the right to:

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

  • PretPakkie is not liable for:

    • Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages

    • Loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill

    • Errors in measurements provided by you

    • Slight colour, fabric or fit variations as described in our Disclaimers

  • Our total liability arising out of or in connection with any order will not exceed the total amount paid by you for that specific order.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our gross negligence or fraud.

 

 

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms, our website or your use of our services will, where possible, be resolved amicably. If not resolved, the dispute may be referred to the appropriate South African court with jurisdiction.
